My Community Gates is a service of GTP LLC. These terms are between GTP LLC (“we”) and the community, association or management company that orders the service (“you”). By ordering, signing in as a community manager, or letting your residents use the portal, you accept them. Residents use the portal under your authority; their use is governed by these terms and your own community rules.
A hosted web portal that connects to your UniFi Access console through a private tunnel and lets residents manage their own credentials and community managers oversee them, as described on how it works. Setup assistance as described in your order. Support by email, or by phone on plans that include it.
The portal never opens a gate and cannot change your access policies: the API token has no scope for either. It does not replace your console or your installer. If the portal is unavailable, your gate works as before and your office can use the console directly. We do not sell or support UniFi hardware.
Use the portal only for your own community's gates. Do not attempt to access another community's data, to probe the service, or to automate sign-ins. Community managers must keep their passkeys and email accounts secure and must remove staff who leave. We may suspend access that threatens the service or other communities, and will tell you when we do.
Fees are as shown on pricing or in your order. Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance and may be cancelled at the end of any month; yearly plans are billed yearly in advance and run for the year. The setup fee is due before setup and is not refunded. Fees exclude taxes. Prices may change with sixty days' notice, never within a prepaid period.
Your community's data is yours. We process it on your instructions as described in the privacy page, which is part of these terms. On request we export your data in a common format, and we delete it thirty days after the service ends.
We aim for the portal to be available at all times and monitor it continuously, but it is provided “as is” and we do not promise uninterrupted service except where your order includes an uptime commitment. We may interrupt the service briefly for maintenance and will schedule it outside office hours where we can. Ubiquiti may change UniFi Access in ways that affect features; we adapt as quickly as we reasonably can and tell you if a feature cannot be kept.
Gate access decisions are made by your console under your policies; we are not responsible for who your console admits or refuses. To the extent the law allows, our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may end a monthly plan at the end of any month and a yearly plan at the end of its year. We may end the agreement with sixty days' notice, or immediately if you break these terms and do not fix it within fourteen days of our notice. When the agreement ends we revoke the tunnel and the token on our side; you should also revoke the token and VPN client on your console.
These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States. If part of them is unenforceable, the rest stands. We may update these terms; material changes are emailed to community managers thirty days before they take effect. UniFi, UniFi Access and Ubiquiti are trademarks of Ubiquiti Inc.; we are an independent service and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Ubiquiti.
